A pan-African organisation advancing health systems transformation

PIH Africa is a pan-African organisation committed to developing leaders, generating knowledge, and advancing health systems transformation across the continent.

We believe that stronger health systems require capable leaders, evidence-informed decision-making, and institutions equipped to deliver sustainable impact. Through leadership development, research, strategic advisory, and capacity-building, we work with individuals and organizations to address some of Africa's most pressing healthcare challenges.

Our work is delivered through two flagship initiatives. The PIH Fellowship develops the next generation of healthcare leaders through mentorship, leadership development, and career acceleration. The Institute for Population Health Intelligence (IPHI), our research and advisory arm, generates evidence, provides strategic advisory services, and supports institutions to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes across Africa.

Since our founding, we have built a growing community of healthcare professionals, researchers, innovators, and leaders committed to advancing healthcare across the continent. Together, we are investing in the people, knowledge, and systems needed to create lasting change.
